Extended DRP1 Edition

The Extended DRP1 edition of CC5X supports the DxPIC cores from Digital Core Design, Poland.

Main features supported by the Extended DRP1 compiler edition:
  • up to 64k program space divided into 32 pages of 2048 code words
  • standard (4 banks) or extended bank support (8 banks). Optional up to 127 banks are supported but requires a special agreement.
  • definable call stack level size
  • full debugging support through the DoCD debugger
  • extended interrupt controller

A new ROM concept has been developed, allowing parts of the code space to be defined as fixed ROM code that does not change for future compilations. The ROM concept is compatible with full C level debugging and the static local variable allocation used by CC5X. The ROM code part is intended to reside in fixed ROM part of the ASIC.

  1. Your program uses more than 8k words of code
  2. Your program uses more than 4 RAM banks
